Working on UFO's

Yesterday was another warm day. The humidity continues to be lower which is nice. Nights are cooler which is delightful.

Lifestyle

Yesterday we went to pick raspberries. The first thing we noticed when entering the "tunnels" was the 8 foot high grape tomato plants that will be u-pick later this month.
The raspberries are smaller this year due to the heat and dry weather we've had. The season has lasted 3 weeks. The next crop will be ready the beginning of September.
After a stop at the u-pick blueberry farm and the meat market we headed home.
After lunch, we decided to start cleaning up the flower bed around one side and the end of the shed. We worked a good hour and got most of one side done.
We moved everything out but the rosebush and the watermelon pot. The orange bucket was filled to the brim and about 1/4 full the second time. Our plan is to lay ground covering and river rock around the shed. I'll add some solar lights out there and call it done.

Knitting

I finished the Bella Bolero yesterday and it's ready to block. The last doll item is to crochet doll shoes. Then I can look at other items to knit. Pictures will follow.

Today

We are off to the city to get a few items and look for river rock. Then its to snoop locally for bricks and decking.
Until the next time...........................
