Happy Thanksgiving

Yesterday was a warm day with a high of 21C. The wind was blustery at times. This morning it was 15C at 6 a.m., down from 17C at 4 a.m. Today is suppose to be cool and they are calling for frost tomorrow.

Lifestyle

We had a busy day yesterday. I started the morning by cleaning the stairs and front entry. I pulled off the stair treads and put new tape down to hold them in place. It was a lot of work on my hands and knees.

Just as I was finishing that, family arrived to make pies and by noon, an apple pie was cooking in the oven.

I made the pumpkin pie filling while the crust was being made by daughter-in-law. While they were cooking, I swept and washed some floors. Next on the list was carrots.

He is good at peeling them and did 3 bags in no time flat.

While that was happening, I pulled the table apart and cleaned it well. We were done by 3 p.m. And we were tired.

The fire chief's truck and fire truck did their tour of the crossing yesterday as it was the end of Fire Prevention Week. It is an annual thing they do.

We had 3 new cases reported yesterday. Two were related to travel outside Canada and the third is related to one or both of them.

Today

It's another busy day with supper tonight. More cleaning, cooking, setting up, and eating.

Until the next time.....................................................
