A Day Of Resting

 Yesterday was wet and cloudy with a high of 6C at 11 pm. This morning it is cloudy and 8C. Today is supposed to be cloudy with showers and a high of 12C. 

Lifestyle

Though yesterday was to be a rest day, I did a few things. I got laundry done along with making myself something for a couple of dinners. I also got the recycling and compost out to the road for pick up this morning. 

I tried to go back to sleep yesterday morning but to no avail. I was still having the IBS attack. I sat and did some more work on the family tree until it was over. My discovery was to find out I have ancestors that came from France. Not what I was told. What I discovered was even more interesting. They were founding settlers of Lunenburg and were tenant farmers. From there they went to Tatamagouche where they were tenant farmers. It wasn't until land became available in River John that one of sons owned land. At that time they had been in Nova Scotia for 34 years. 

I did a lot of resting but couldn't nap. I was between a rock and hard place. Tired but wanting to do a few things. My medications are kicking in which didn't help. I got through the day and am feeling better today. 

Today

I am going to begin cleaning the house as I have let it go once again. I will do as much as I can. I would like to sew this afternoon and try to knit tonight. It is going to be a day of getting back into routines.
