The Spousal Unit

Yesterday the Spousal Unit mounted his horse, gathered his dogs and left us to be in heaven. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father and grandfather, and my best friend for 51 years of marriage. He will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Keep the herd settled, the hay beautiful, the Hereford cattle gaining, and the pastures green. Until we meet again. I will miss you and always love you.

Sorry to hear about your husband. I’ve been reading your blog for awhile for the doll clothes. My husband’s mom had dementia and it was hard to hear of your struggles with your husband. You were amazing taking care of him for as long as you did.
May you finally have peace and memories of your life together. Marleen kerrville texas.

  19. I’m just seeing this and my heart goes out to you. You were a devoted wife to him and I know there’s a big void now. I hope you get comfort from all angles. No more frustration or worries for him.
