A Few Moments Of Boredom

Yesterday was a mix of sun and clouds with blustery winds. The high got to 11C. This morning is clear and 6C. Today is supposed to be sunny with a high of 7C.

Lifestyle

Yesterday morning started off with frustration. My Gmail wouldn't work on my phone. I did everything but delete it. Finally, I was asked to put in my password which I did. I then closed the app and when I opened it again it worked. I know it had something to do with changing my password. It was frustrating as I had put the new password in to that account earlier when asked to. It is working now and I am happy it is "fixed".

My next job was to do the balance sheet. No frustrating moments with it. It was balanced and ready for me next week. I  did the stats, paid the bills and put everything away.

I also cleaned up the kitchen as I wasn't going to be home for dinner. I was then bored as I didn't have time to start anything as I needed to be out mid afternoon.

I helped with the dinner at the community hall. I peeled potatoes alone to start with and then had helped. We did about 60 lbs. Then it was time to help get the food cooking. There were 5 of us and we worked well together. The dinner wasn't as big as we had been told but there were about 90 people. Once dinner was done, we cleaned up and left about 8:30 pm.

Sewing

None done though I need to print another shirt pattern to cut out.

Knitting

I did knit for a bit after I got home. I now have 23 rows done on the vest.

I do not like this yarn as much as I like the expensive yarns I knit socks from. I am knitting it as I need to use it up and get it gone.

Thoughts

I found a chart for the rainfall for the month of October in Nova Scotia. We had 5" of rain fall in our area. We are recovering from the drought which is good.

The wind was quite blustery yesterday. It was the end of Hurricane Melissa as she heads across the Atlantic to goodness knows where. We are now heading into cooler temperatures.

I was achy and tired when I got home last night. I sat on heat for my glute and when I stretched in bed, my SI joint released with a good crack. My knees stopped hurting as the barometric pressure went up. I am back to "normal" with my aches and pains.

Today

I am out at 8:30 am to make sandwiches at the community hall. We have to make them for 2 events. Once home, I will do laundry and some more tidying up. I may even start to cut out the last shirt for the doll's wardrobe. Tonight I will knit on the vest.

Until the next time........................................................
