I'm stepping into the world of quilting. I haven't quilted for quite a few years. I'm watching videos recommended by a friend who is also quilting.
My favorite website for learning new things is Just Get It Done. Karen Brown is wonderful and she has a YouTube Channel. I am excited to be learning ideas from her.
Bullet Journal
I am a bullet journal lover. I have one on the table that I use on occasion. I'm going to use it for sewing as I watch Karen Brown's videos on this. I am going to use her words of "start small, start simple".
Goal Planning 2019 - though older, it has good ideas in it.
The Sewing Room
I love a clean sewing room and I do work hard at keeping it clean. But, once a year I like to declutter the room and give it a thorough cleaning. December 2020 I will be doing Karen Brown's Decluttering Challenge in hopes that I can remove the stash shelving unit from the sewing room.

Choosing Colors
Though I did study a lot about color, I have huge learning holes. I am going to work through these videos so I can have a better understanding of what to do when choosing colors for a quilt.
Choosing Colors Part 1 - Color Theory
In this part, I am going to dabble with color as she states getting some color chips from Home Depot. I'll start with the 500 series as she did and then do it at least once more with another series.
Choosing Colors Part 2 - Color Harmony
This one I will play with when I'm in the fabric store. I will grab several fat quarters and play with them. I will go prepared to do one of the colors and play play play if it isn't busy.
Choosing Colors Part 3 - Finding Your Color Zone
We both love blue and now I will work on how to add other colors to the blue so we can have neat things in our house.
