Yesterday was cold and blustery. The report high of 10.1C must have been during the night as it didn't get above 4C during the day. Snow fell in the afternoon but didn't stick to the ground. This morning it is 1C. We could have a few flurries today with a high of 5C.
Lifestyle
I did the yoga exercises yesterday and it continues to help my joints. My knee was quite sore and stiff and I did an exercise for it last night. It felt better but it did make my hip sore. There is a balance between what is good and what isn't.
I did some cleaning in the morning before going to family's to measure their meat slicer. That done, I came home and put heat on my sore spots. I have fluid retention due to the pain I was having. The pain came and went.
I got the garbage down to the road and it was cold. I didn't walk as it was snowing like crazy and then rained. I did walk inside as much as I could.
Sewing
I drew out the pattern for the meat slicer cover and need to look at fabrics once again. I will have to piece together fabric as I do not have 60" wide fabric in the stash. I actually have ripstop nylon which may work.
I did spent time on the shirt and got the yoke on. It is done in the burrito method and turned out really good. I also double folded the front bands down and stitched them in place.
The next step is to do the collar and I have all the pieces laid out on interfacing to cut and apply.
Knitting
I finished the front of the vest. I pushed myself to do it.
Today
Daughter-in-law has been here and put in one new plug so I can charge my iPad and phone in the living room. She couldn't do the 2nd one due to the amount of wires in the boxes. I have to do yoga after breakfast. My job today is to clean up the house, start cleaning the living room, fold laundry, sew and knit. A busy day for me.
