Flooring Done

We had a gorgeous 21C sunny day yesterday. It did rain during the night but the sun is shining again today. 

Lifestyle

The flooring was installed yesterday. It is lovely and perfect for what we need down there. We had a bonus - the back of the planks are cork to absorb sound and give cushion when standing on it. 

The family room was done first and the layers were quick even with the angles they had to cut. The planks are 5' long and 9" wide. 

The sewing room went fast as it is a rectangle shaped room. We were amazed that they were done at 2:30 p.m. arriving around 10 a.m. 

Sewing

I worked on the dress and have the lining done and attached to the outer fabric at the neckline. Ready to finish it today with hopes of sewing the lace edging onto the hem of the skirt. 

Knitting

I reknit the neckband correctly, wove in some yarn and attached one front band. I pinned in the sleeve to get it looking good. Next up is to knit the second sleeve, weave in more yarn ends, sew up the second band and attach the sleeves. I need to find some tiny buttons for the front. 

Today

I'm out this morning for an hour and then it's sewing the dress. I have to get it done plus make the cape. Not sure if the hat will get done but am hoping it will. Lots left to do.
