Indoor and Outdoor Projects Continued

We had a cool wet Wednesday and a lovely warm Thursday. The high yesterday was 23C. The temperature this morning is 15C and it is suppose to get to 28C with a chance of showers. A hot humid day for us.

Lifestyle

Wednesday was clean our bedroom day and it is nice to have it spotless. The afternoon was spent finishing the puzzle. #4 is done.
We are deciding if we will set up #5 or leave it until later in the fall.
Yesterday morning, it was outside to continue weeding the hedge. The end closest to the front of the property was targeted and wasn't completed. It got too hot and I started to over heat (which I do quite easily). It will get done next week as I have to tidy up the yard side and pull grass to straighten up the edge. It is slow going but it is getting done.
The number of new cases reported has been 1 on Wednesday and 0 on Thursday. There was 1 death reported on Thursday.

Sewing

I didn't sew on Wednesday (puzzle instead) but did sew yesterday. The skirt is finished to the snaps and buttons. Very cute.
I have to undo the waistband and add elastic to the back of the skirt as Kit is not as chunky as the older dolls this pattern was designed for. A very easy fix.

Knitting

The sweater is coming along nicely. It is ready to have the neck stitches cast off and start to be divided.
This sweater is a faster knit than I thought it would be. But, it does have mistakes in it. The pattern is what one person called for an advanced knitter and they should be able to figure it out. I disagree with that and would love to see the pattern retested so the mistakes can be fixed.

Today

We are heading out this morning to get some gardening items and then home to keep cool. This evening the geraniums will be planted. I hope to trace another pattern for Kit's wardrobe and put the elastic into the skirt waistband.
Until the next time...............................
