Yesterday morning I was in a pretty good mood. My weight is going down (mostly fluids I think) and my blood pressure was down. It was a great combination.
I have decided that I need to work through our upstairs and sort once again. Over at Stitcher’s Guild, one of the members mentioned Home Storage Solutions and I joined and I found the January calendar.
When I looked at the calendar, I saw that January is all about the kitchen. There is doing and a bit of reading. I have cheated and did the readings first. They talk about a Life Binder and found this Menu Planner. I am deciding how detailed of a binder I need, what to print off and take in for printing.
While all of that was mulling around in my head after my coffee and blog reading, I started doing some things in the kitchen. I cleaned out the flatware drawer and the kitchen towel drawer. I then scrubbed the counters putting away items that seemed to be there but not needed. I also cleaned the top of the stove. All looks good for now. Maybe by the end of January, the kitchen will be spotless.
I did hit the sewing room for a while yesterday. I cut out some more maple leaves and have them taped onto the top.
I glued down the black sheer and stitched it in place except near seam allowances. Onto the sleeves and then crystals and finally I can sew it together.
Today the Spousal Unit and and I are going to the city. He has to pick up his hedge trimmer and we have to look at drop ceiling systems for part of the basement. We have a couple of other things to do and want to be home early (like near lunch time).
