I have been using a light therapy lamp for three days now. I have noticed a difference. I have slept well for two nights and haven’t felt as tired during the afternoons. I hope it keeps up the good work.
Yesterday morning I did the recipe book cupboard and it is 25% empty. I took 6 more books to the yard sale pile, tossed a few items, and sent an email to a museum to see if they wanted two little cookbooks that were put together in that area.
After that was done, I tackled the cupboard above the fridge. I had removed my mom’s cookbooks from there. It was full of stuff that needed to be sorted and sold. It was a big job as items needed to be washed, photographed and posted. Other items needed to be wrapped and put into a tub. I will deal with them later on. I posted 3 sets of salt and pepper shakers for sale and sold two. I also put up my 12 serving china tea set and the sale is pending on it.
The above set was my mom’s. They are old as I remember them as a child. They were used on special occasions. They are going to a lady who collects Friar Tuck items.
After lunch I went to the sewing room and worked on the red top. I got the crystals on the sleeves. The top of the sleeve will be finished after I sew it into the top.
I need to add a lot of jet black crystals to the black areas to give them depth.
Sorry for the blurry picture of the back. Just the front left to put crystals onto. Hopefully some will get done today. I need to get this out of the house in the next week.
Today I want to clean out a couple more cupboards in the kitchen. I have two meetings and a bunch of work to do for our big Family Literacy week at the end of the month. I also have to crochet another headband. Things are slacking off in that department. No new orders. My hands and wrists are having a holiday. They were certainly sore from crocheting every day.
Until tomorrow…………………….

It must be both cathartic and sad to be disposing of many of your items, but we all harbour far too much - we manage really well with far less stuff in our flat in London which begs the question do we really need everything we are storing especially when you don't look at this stuff from week to week.
Your top is coming along a treat.
Good you can find places for your sentimental items to be enjoyed. My daughter uses a Happy light too, in the winter, and she think it lifts her mood.
