Is Random A Pattern?

I am not sure what my cold is doing. I am coughing a bit and drank lemon and ginger root infused water/tea yesterday. I am going onto Buckleys today. The only stuff I can take.

The area we live in has had a big storm come through. The Vancouver area is having torrential rains. The routes up to our area (two of them) are closed due to hgh avalanche warnings and high snow fall (up to 75 cm or 30 inches in one mountain pass). Looking at the highway cams, all is quiet and lots of snow on the ground. The earliest traffic can move on those highways is noon today.

On the less interesting side of this, we got an inch of snow and are the coolest place around the area. Temperatures in the communities that got hit by the storm are above 0C.

The work area in the kitchen has been cleaned (except the tops of the cabinets). I have some items to put into the yard sale tubs and then start on the pantry area. I am hoping to have the kitchen scrubbed by the end of the month. Maybe I will have a few days off to do other things.

I spent quite a bit of time hot fixing crystals onto the red top. I can only do until the crystals interfere with sewing. They can be added quickly after the top is finished.

The back will only need some done at the one side seam.

This sleeve will need the cap done when it is sewn in. The other sleeve is basically done, pinned and ready to do the underarm seam.

I am now working on the front and realized (in a panic) that I won’t have enough crystals to finish. I ordered more immediately and will add them after the top is done.

The crystals on the black are done random but there is a pattern to that random.

My goal is to finish putting the crystals on the upper part of this top and start sewing it together. When the crystals come next week, I will finish up the bottom part and then ship it out.

Until tomorrow…………………….

gosh an unbelievable amount of work that goes into all your garments. Amazing.

You inspire me to do some bit of sewing every day. I need to act on that, like you do. Little bits add up. Instead of waiting for a block of time, I should do as you, and do what I can squeeze in. So today, I did some alterations on my current pant pattern and ironed the fabric I'm going use to make them. The diet/exercise is a whole other issue!
