Our trip to the city was successful yesterday. We got everything we wanted. As we headed out to Fabricland, it started to snow ever so lightly and it gave up after a few minutes. I headed in and bought what I needed quite quickly. We left for home and didn’t hit any snow flurries until we drove down into our community. It had started to snow about 20 minutes before we got home and it continued to snow lightly until early evening.
I worked on the embroidery for the second sleeve after we got home and walked away when I had to put in a full bobbin. That can be finished today. I also cut out the horse hair interfacing for the messenger bag and basted most of it onto the faux suede.
The wall hanging isn’t appliqued. I traced the horses onto a fusible webbing and ironed it on to ultra suede. After I cut out the horses and border, I removed the paper and ironed it onto the quilting cotton. I will make another one of these but will not use fusible batting. I don’t like how it turned out.
The next week is going to be a hodge podge of literacy activities in the evenings and a one day meeting. I will sew when I can and let you know how I am doing. I may not blog every day as I may have nothing to report.
Weigh-in:
I gained .5 lb. Why you ask? I ate too much. I didn’t take my thyroid medication every day (I know I missed twice). I didn’t exercise due to the cold weather. Back at it properly again today.
Until tomorrow......................

Ann thanks for explaining how you made the wall hanging - as for the weight gain, .5lbs is nothing, chances are you weigh yourself half an hour later and its .5lbs under.
Good luck with all your work next week
