We are having some of those gray days of winter. The sun comes out for a while and then it clouds up. The temperatures are going to drop to –17C or 0F at night. This is the first “real” winter feel we have had this winter.
Yesterday, I did make it out before lunch when the sun was shining to do my 14 laps. I always feel good when I get them done. And then, when we took out paneling from the front entrance mid afternoon...............it had started to snow. When I checked the weather forecast, we are suppose to have flurries for 4 of the next 6 days. Two days are suppose to have periods of snow; whatever that means. I am assuming it is going to snow.
I got blue shirt done – the buttons are on and now I can ship it to its owner. I decided to finish this shirt while the Spousal Unit took the paneling off the walls in the hall/front entrance. I did help him when he called but it is safer if I am not there when I am not needed.
He only has one wall left to destroy – the one beside the basement stairs. That requires taking off the railing, covering the opening, moving the cat and dog stuff upstairs and us using another means of getting to the basement. That includes figuring out how to get Elliott to the greenhouse as he is afraid to be outside. We will have to do this for 10 days while we do that wall. But when that room is finished; we will have the upstairs totally redone. I am feeling excited about it coming to an end. We will finish the downstairs next winter.
I got the sleeve plackets done on the white shirt and am pleased with them. When I do these plackets, I have to get out my sample that I did with Ron Collins.
Yes that is my book of info I keep on what I have learned from Ron. I refer to it constantly.
I love these plackets but I don’t do them on every shirt. I love them but some clients don’t.
I haven’t worked on the dratted tablecloth for a couple of days. One of my eyes is bothering me; watering like crazy. Could be from the dust though I do notice a gray dot in my vision on that eye. I am heading to see the eye doctor as soon as I can get an appointment.
Until tomorrow.......................

glad you managed to get the buttons done for your blue shirt - I am wondering what your DH is going to do when he no longer has to pull your walls apart ha ha.
I have watched Ron on the SB web site - I subscribed last year and he does come up with some really good tips - dead jealous would love have some classes with him.
Hope your eye is ok - take care
It must be hard to work for so long on a shirt, only to send it away! Is the white shirt a keeper for you???
