It is super easy and has only 4 pieces but it took me a month to make. My first SWAP item is done and I am certainly proud of it but embarassed that it took me so long to make. Time is not something I have a lot of these days. My job keeps me hopping with meetings so I decided to take the two weeks of Spring Break and sew. Sew, the top was the first thing on my list to do after I had plenty of sleep under my belt.
This top will become a jacket to wear with sleeveless tops underneath it. I am thrilled with how it looks. The only thing I will do differently is watch the colour of the serger threads. It was hard to decide if I should have used white or black. I probably would have been almost as unhappy with the black thread but maybe not.
