I have been busy and one wouldn't think that I have cleaned house. With all the rain, it has become a battle that I am loosing.
What have I done in the line of sewing? Here is the list:
- Finished Jill's coat. The embroidery looks so cute on it. I have to put on several more snaps so it fits around her belly.
- Dave's shirt is done. I thought the cuffs were too tight but they aren't. It looks very good on him.
- Two dragon fly shirts are done in black. Lady Dragon Fly and Dragon Fly Filly.
- Lady Bumblebee II is done and looking good.
- Dark green crystals put on the green butterfly shirt.
- Fringe, crystals, butterflies on a denim vest for a child.
- Fringe, crystals, butterflies, and horseshoes on a denim vest for a lady.
- Ride for the Cure shirt is finished.
While at our daughter's house I did the following:
- Fixed and finished a Fauxy Baby shirt in cream and gold. I put on the ivory fringe, pink and yellow dragonflies and pink crystals. It is darling.
- Fixed up three ivory brocade vests; 2 children and 1 adult. The adult and one child's vest got green fringe, green trim, horseshoes, dragonflies, and crystals on them. The other child's vest is done with ivory fringe, gold binding on the shoulders and pink, green, and gold roses on the front with light pink crystals.
- Got crystals on Lady Bumblebee II and the Dragon Fly shirts.
I got out a piece of raspberry knit and my Jalie t-shirt pattern today. I began tracing out a shell and the power went out. I got the front traced so will have to do the back and facings tomorrow. It is a beginning. When the top is made up, I want to embroider some lace like this for the front; I think I will need to make 5 to 7 of them.

This has become a favourite of mine to put on western shirts and I think it will look very nice on the neckline of this top as I have thread that matches perfectly. Also the fabric matches one of the colours in the flowers on a top I am going to make. This adds versitility to my wardrobe.
