I have bought just one more piece of fabric for my Summer Swap. It is a plaid to go with the tan and black pant fabrics. It is very thin so I will underline the front and back with a cream coloured broadcloth. The pattern is going to be a Palmer Pletch campshirt pattern that I have on hand. I will be able to make it in a day.
All of the embroidered pillows are complete and the first one was given to the bride and groom on Friday. The next one goes on Wednesday to another couple and the third one on June 30 to a third couple. The last one will be kept until October when there will be a double wedding; so I have one more pillow to make during the summer.
I have been playing around with the embroidery on our dog's spring and fall coat. The lettering is rope in design and will be done in hot pink to match the lining. But, I have to make a western shirt for a girl. It is in yellow with black trim so it is named Lady Bumblebee II. Hopefully it will get done soon so I can start on other things.
